1:1 Session Details + Inquiry From
Hello! I'm so glad you're here and I'm looking forward to holding space for you. This page contains everything you need to know to prepare for your visit, along with a brief intake form to help me understand what you're bringing to the session.
Preparing For Your Session:
Hydration — Begin increasing your water intake 24-48 hours before your session and drink plenty of water before your session. Proper hydration supports lymphatic and energetic flow and helps your body process and release what comes up during our work together.
Rest — If possible, avoid scheduling intense activities immediately before or after your session. Give yourself spaciousness.
Eat lightly — Have a light meal 1-2 hours before your session. Avoid heavy foods that might make you uncomfortable lying down.
Arrive 5 minutes early — This gives you time to use the restroom, settle in, and transition from the outside world into session space.
Minimize caffeine — If possible, reduce caffeine intake on session day as it can interfere with your nervous system's ability to fully relax.
Dress comfortably — To ensure your safety and comfort please note the following:
Socks must be worn throughout the session.
Please wear fitted, comfortable clothing as free of zippers, buttons, or hardware as possible.
We ask that you wear soft leggings and a snug top with sleeves to allow for smooth and continuous movement over the rollers.
Remove all bracelets and necklaces prior to your session to ensure optimal glide and prevent interference with the session. If your bracelets cannot be removed, your wrists will be gently wrapped with a soft foam fitness tape to protect the skin and maintain treatment integrity.
During Your Session:
Your comfort is priority — Temperature will be adjusted to your preference. Let me know at any point if you need anything adjusted.
Communication is welcome — While many clients prefer silence to drop into deeper states, you're always welcome to communicate if something doesn't feel right or if you need anything.
Sensations you might experience — Warmth, tingling, waves of relaxation, emotional releases, or you might simply drift into deep rest. All of this is normal and welcome.
There's nothing you need to "do" — Your only job is to be present with whatever arises. Your body knows how to heal; I'm simply creating the conditions for that to happen.

Parking: Plenty of free street parking available on Harbourside Drive.
What to do when you arrive: On Sundays and after business hours, please send a text message to Melissa when you arrive and she will let you in the building.
For Virtual Sessions: A link to our virtual studio will be sent with your booking confirmation, once you have completed the form on the right.
Cancellation Policy: 48-hour notice required for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged in full. No refunds.
